Lifology, a Kerala-based startup offering career management, announced a partnership with British Nobel laureate Sir Richard J. Roberts.
Roberts will be associated with the startup for charting out the framework for the venture’s future curriculum that aims to provide scientific and comprehensive career guidance to all.
A biochemist and molecular biologist, Roberts was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1993 along with Phillip Allen Sharp for the discovery of introns in eukaryotic DNA and the mechanism of gene-splicing.
Roberts, who is known for his pioneering work in genetics and medicine, will contribute his deep understanding of human genes and their impact on human nature to Lifology’s platform.
The integration of his scientific expertise into career management will enable Lifology to provide the most futuristic and comprehensive mentoring to individuals, the company said.
“Dr Richard Roberts’ scientific acumen will be instrumental in refining and expanding our career management offerings,” CEO Praveen Parameswar said.
“Through this collaboration, individuals, parents, and academicians will also have the unique opportunity to interact with the Nobel Laureate,” he said.
Parameswar said partnering with the Nobel Laureate is expected to create a profound impact on the education and career landscape in India.
Senior space scientist at NASA Dr Jennifer Wiseman, senior diplomats from the United Nations, prominent figures in the field of education in Finland, and experts from various other fields are also partners in this initiative of Lifology, the company said.
The platform is a Guinness World Record-winning career management organisation that has helped millions of individuals navigate the complex world of career choices.
With its innovative technology and expert guidance, Lifology empowers individuals to discover their passions, explore career options, and build successful futures.
Roberts is currently the chief scientific officer at New England Biolabs.
