Cognita, the global diverse education groups, has partnered with Nshama, the developer of Dubai’s Town Square community, to establish a new all-through campus of Horizon English School. Serving students from FS1 to Year 13, the expansion brings one of Dubai’s most established British curriculum schools to Town Square, extending its trusted ethos and reputation for excellence to more families across the emirate.

To mark the launch, David Baldwin, CEO of Cognita Middle East, and Rashid Al Abbar, GM of Nshama, broke ground at the construction site, signaling the start of development on the Horizon English School Town Square campus.

Set to open in August 2027, the school will offer premium British curriculum education for children aged 3 to 18. It will open with classes from FS1 to Year 8 in its first academic year (2027–2028), expanding to Year 13 in the following years.

With more than 35 years of history, Horizon English School is one of Dubai’s best-known home-grown schools. Its Jumeirah campus has consistently earned an ‘Outstanding’ rating from both KHDA and BSO and was named the Happiest School in the UAE (2021–2023). The Town Square campus will build on this legacy, offering the same standard of teaching, learning outcomes, and community spirit.

David Baldwin, CEO of Cognita Middle East, said: “We are delighted to announce that Horizon English School, one of Dubai’s much-loved home-grown British curriculum schools, is opening a new campus in Town Square. This new all-through campus continues our legacy of delivering excellence in education. It will be a place where children feel they belong, are inspired to grow and supported to flourish. Town Square’s vibrant and family-friendly community makes it the perfect home for Horizon English School’s next chapter, and we look forward to welcoming our first students.”

Rashid Al Abbar, GM of Nshama, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Cognita to introduce this exceptional British curriculum school to Town Square. This development is in line with our ongoing efforts to create integrated communities where families can enjoy a rich and balanced lifestyle, with access to top-tier education, modern amenities, and a vibrant environment.”

Horizon English School Town Square will become a new landmark in the community, further strengthening the UAE’s education landscape. Tuition fees will range from Dhs49,000 for FS1 to Dhs75,000 for Year 13. Admissions will open for Foundation Stage to Year 8 in the 2027–2028 academic year, with open house events and campus previews to be announced.
