Bahrain’s Al Salam Bank has launched its ‘Workspaces’ portal, aimed to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate financial management for small and medium enterprises.

The platform has been designed to meet the needs of Single Person Companies (SPC), family offices, and Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and offers full range of secure financial services.

Workspaces delivers a number of features while enabling clients to access their company profiles, account details, financing, cards, and Wakala account deposits, as well as manage flexible payments for single and multi-users.

An ‘Admin User’ profile can be created on the portal, through which clients can manage multiple commercial registration accounts and benefit from self-service features that eliminate the need to visit the bank, including payments, salary transfers, international transfers, and investments.

Mohammed Buhijji, Head of Retail Banking at Al Salam Bank, commented: “The ‘Workspaces’ portal marks a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering MSMEs by providing tailored digital services that support their businesses.

“With its simple design and advanced features, this platform will bring an unprecedented shift in the way organisations manage their finances, in addition to elevating the banking experience for SMEs.

“This digital initiative also seeks to enhance the role of small businesses and their contributions to Bahrain’s sustainable economic development.”

Haitham Al-Haddad, Head of Digital Channels, added: “Workspaces is designed to meet the evolving needs of MSMEs.

“The portal introduces three features for the first time in the Kingdom –  the switch functionality which enables clients to access multiple relationships under a single login, the Admin User profile for self-service capabilities, and the flexible payment execution with single or multi-user authorisation.”
