Flexjet, a global firm in luxury private aviation, announced the official addition of the Gulfstream G700 to its fleet, expanding one of the world’s most sophisticated large-cabin aircraft collections. The G700, Gulfstream’s largest and fastest jet to date, now offers Flexjet Owners access to a new benchmark of bold design, luxury, and performance in the fractional jet ownership marketplace.

Unlike the years-long wait facing direct buyers, Flexjet Owners can gain immediate access to the aircraft, which remains in limited supply globally. Flexjet is introducing the programme with three of these $96m jets already in operation.

“True to the belief that history favours the bold, we continue to bring to market a level of luxury, service and prestige that is simply not available from any other fractional provider and the G700 is the latest example,” said Flexjet chairman Kenn Ricci. “As luxury increasingly comes to mean the freedom and control of enriching one’s time, the G700 aligns seamlessly with those who seek to shape their world both effortlessly and exceptionally.”

By the end of 2025, Flexjet’s fleet of more than 340 aircraft will include over 60 large-cabin jets, ranging from Gulfstream G450s and G650s to the flagship G700. Each is outfitted with artisan interiors from the renowned LXi Cabin Collection and equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi connectivity.

“From the Baby Boomers to Gen Xers to corporate flight departments, the desire for larger aircraft that can fly longer distances continues to grow,” added Flexjet CEO Michael Silvestro. “With a ramp presence that is second to none, unmatched size, speed and wellness-based cabin amenities, the G700 is strongly resonating, and our pre-sales indicate this is truly the ultra-long-range aircraft the market is most excited about.”

The G700 offers a range of 7,750 nautical miles (14,350 km), a cruising speed of 567 knots, and a cabin designed to accommodate up to 15 passengers plus a dedicated cabin server. At 6 feet 3 inches (1.90 m) in height, the spacious cabin features 20 panoramic oval windows and four distinct zones for work, dining, relaxation, and rest. Overnight journeys are enhanced with a private bedroom, lie-flat seats, and convertible divan seating.

Passenger wellbeing is central to the design. A circadian lighting system reduces jet lag by syncing illumination with travel patterns, while a low cabin altitude of 2,840 feet—around 20 per cent lower than competitors—delivers greater comfort. The aircraft is also 25 per cent quieter than comparable models and features a Plasma Ionisation Clean Air System that refreshes the cabin atmosphere every two to three minutes.

The G700 will operate within Flexjet’s Red Label by Flexjet programme, which offers Owners the industry’s highest level of personalisation and service. Each Red Label aircraft has a dedicated crew, with cabin servers trained at the Red Label Academy in London, ensuring tailored hospitality on every flight. Red Label also extends beyond aviation with curated FXLUXE travel guides and Chairman’s Club destination experiences.

The launch coincides with Flexjet’s 30th anniversary, a year that has also seen the company secure an $800m equity investment from a consortium led by L Catterton, an affiliate of LVMH—the largest equity investment in private aviation to date.

Silvestro concluded: “As we mark our 30th anniversary, reflection brings pride—but the true excitement lies in recent milestones, including the launch of this remarkable aircraft, all working in tandem to reinforce our position as the world’s finest provider of private jet travel.”
